Quantica's H2: Gearing Up for a Busy Second Half of 2025

From application development in e-motors and fuel cells to international conferences and events in H1, the Quantica team is preparing for an exciting second half of the year.

The first half of 2025 has been a busy and impactful time for Quantica, highlighted by new application announcements in adhesives for e-motors and fuel cells, as well as active participation in key industry events including the European Coatings Show, AM Forum, FESPA, and The Battery Show Europe.

As summer settles in and the pace of conferences slows, we’re shifting gears to bring you a series of content aimed at deepening your understanding of our technology. Kicking things off is our Technical Printhead Webinar, where we will dive into the core features that enable our printhead to handle materials with high viscosities and large particle sizes– something no other printhead can do.

Bridging the Gap: Introducing Inkjet to New Industries

At many of the conferences we attend, we have found that inkjet, or material jetting, is often a new manufacturing solution for attendees to wrap their heads around. Even for those familiar with inkjet, there is a common perception of material limitations tied to conventional printheads. And this is where Quantica stands out. We share case studies and demonstrate how our technology is helping companies move from traditional analog manufacturing methods, such as single-nozzle dispensing, slot die coating, screen printing, and spray coating, to a process that unlocks new design freedom and efficiencies.

Driving Innovation in Automotive and Battery Technology

Quantica heads to the U.S. in October, kicking off a packed month. Our founder and Head of Research and IP, Ben Hartkopp, will be in Detroit to meet with leading automotive companies and deepen our understanding of the applications within automotive manufacturing where Quantica's technology can provide significant value.

While in Detroit, we will also be attending The Battery Show USA. This event provides a great platform for us to showcase our ongoing work, including applications like encapsulation coatings for Lithium-ion battery tin coatings. As well as explore other areas within battery manufacturing where Quantica's high viscosity inkjet printhead technology can help advance processes in battery manufacturing.

Expanding Our Reach in Traditional Printing Industries

Following a successful experience at FESPA 2025, our team is excited to head to Orlando in late October for a similar expo, Printing United Expo. While Printing United Expo is a more traditional printing expo, our presence at FESPA revealed a desire for more functional printing solutions in the industry. Quantica's advanced inkjet solution perfectly aligns with this growing need, and we anticipate connecting with many attendees seeking to push the boundaries of materials that can be used in inkjet. Printing functional materials like conductive inks, adhesives, encapsulating coatings, screen printing pastes, and more.
